Certifications

VCA
VCA stands for VGM Checklist Aannemers (VGM Contractors Checklist). VGM stands for Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu (Safety, Health and Environment). VCA’s goal is to screen companies in critical points regarding whether they work in a safe, healthy and environmentally aware manner. This concerns primarily companies that perform high-risk activities from the customer’s perspective. Often these activities take place in factories, plants, workshops and at project sites. The objective of VCA is to examine safety policies and performance so that organisations can demonstrate their safety performance by means of this certification based on the specified VCA standards. HTC International highly values the safety and health of its employees and customers and therefore also has the VCA certificate.

ISO 9001:2015
The ISO 9001:2015 certificate awarded by the TÜV demonstrates that HTC International employs a recognised quality management system that is clearly and efficiently aimed at internally and externally improving the organisation and increasing skills. The quality management system is applicable to the development, manufacture, installation and maintenance of complete telematics and communication systems.

Recognised by the NCP
The NCP (Nationaal Centrum voor Preventie) (National Centre for Prevention) is the certification institute in the Netherlands in the area of burglary prevention and fire safety. Certification is the issuing of an independent declaration that provides a legitimate vote of confidence that a company has demonstrably proven its compliance with standards and regulations. Companies can have themselves be evaluated by the NCP with regard to their compliance with criteria that are specified in quality regulations on burglary prevention and fire safety. This concerns regulations put together by market parties such as insurance companies, suppliers and manufacturers, users and authorities (police, fire department, various ministries). HTC International is certified by the NCP for the installation of complete burglary prevention and fire safety systems.

BREEAM
BREEAM stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method and was originally developed and introduced by the Building Research Establishment (BRE). BREEAM has established a standard for the development of sustainable buildings that indicates which performance level the examined building has. The intent is to analyse the buildings and improve them in the sustainability area. HTC International embraces sustainability and sustainable initiatives and in doing so has amassed a wealth of experience with BREEAM-certified projects since BREEAM’s inception. HTC International focuses on sustainable cabling concepts and hardware in order to achieve significant energy savings in the telematics area.
